The spherical bearings on FLH models from 2002 to present last roughly 40,000 miles.
If your bike is close to 40,000 miles, we recommend upgrading to the DTI Swingarm Bearings along with new rubber isolators and Sta-Bo isolator bushings.
How To Check If You Need New Bearings:
For 02 and later model FLH models, follow these 3 steps:
- Raise your motorcycle until the rear wheel is off the ground.
- From the left-hand side of your motorcycle, try to move the swingarm back and forth/side to side.
- If the swingarm has any side-to-side play, then new DTI swingarm bearings are highly recommended!
